Commercial Accounts
Any
company that purchases lubricants for use in the vehicles or equipment
the company owns may be registered as a commercial account. Many
companies require a large amount of lubricants to maintain their company
vehicles, machinery and equipment. Trucking companies, taxi fleets,
golf courses, farms, construction companies, manufacturing facilities,
municipalities and government agencies are all entities that fall in the
category as commercial accounts.
  
Commercial
Accounts have the option of applying for a 30-day credit line, or paying
by credit card, check, or bank draft. Commercial Accounts also have
available to them Internet ordering or Toll-free ordering via
telephone. Commercial Accounts have access to AMSOIL Technical Services
for any technical questions or advice for product application.
The process of shipping and handling of product to a commercial account
is relatively easy. Given the appropriate information, AMSOIL can take
care of the entire process from the point of purchase. All details on
shipping and handling are spelled out on the
Confidential Price List
(G-1020) which I, as your servicing dealer, will provide to you.
However, there are some points specific to commercial accounts that
warrant explanation.
1.
The customers can choose to pick up the products from the nearest
distribution center. If they do, all they need is the account number
with them when they go to pick it up. There is no shipping and handling
charge if customers pick it up themselves.
2. Dealers may order products shipped freight collect or pre-pay the
freight using the Freight Schedule in the Commercial Price List. If a
specific routing guarantee for common carrier shipments is needed,
specify that the order be shipped “freight collect.” However, UPS and
Parcel Post shipments cannot be shipped “freight collect.”
3. For commercial accounts, freight discounts are available based on
the volume of the purchase:
a. $3,750 (U.S.) to $7,499.99—AMSOIL pays half the freight.
b. $7,500 (U.S.) or more—AMSOIL pays all freight.
